Company Overview
Parent Company and Headquarters

The parent company, Goh Shoji Co., Inc., opened its doors to the world 46 years ago in 1955 in Ginza, Tokyo, as a trading company. Its headquarters is housed in Goh Shoji Building in a quiet street of Tokyo; just 10 minutes walk from the bustling main Tokyo Station.

As an agent of Yokohama Rubber Co., Goh Shoji started selling parts to Komatsu Ltd. but soon began making parts. In short five years, Goh Shoji invested in Hiyoshi Industries, which manufactured high pressure hoses for Komatsu’s construction machineries.

With several smart strategic alliances with such manufacturing giants as Komatsu, Panasonic and Sharp, the number of Goh offices in Japan grew and the parts repertoire extended to encompass numerous items for construction, automobiles, electrical appliances, office equipment and the electronics industry.

Tokyo headquarters manages five office locations and one distribution center in Japan. Goh Shoji also aggressively invests in industrial facilities in Japan with four related companies.

Goh Shoji Co., Inc posted revenue of 43.9 billion yen (approximately $385 million) in the year ended March 2007. The company’s domestic sales could reach $482 million this year. The international group extends over six countries with about a dozen offices. Recently the total number of employees of the Group is near 600.

Recently the parent company moved the international headquarters from Singapore to Japan and consolidated the international logics and communication into the Osaka office. We are firmly rooted in the tradition of Japanese companies for quality products and excellent services.
